Spirit of Joy! community was created by the grace of God in 1998 and has grown to include over 300 people from The Woodlands and surrounding communities. We started worshiping in the present building in 2001, after the church's beginnings at Barbara Bush Elementary School, across the street.

We invite you to experience the "Spirit of Joy" by checking out our web site and joining us for an event, a study class or a worship service.

Holy Week Schedule

Lent Services - Wednesday evenings, March 10, 17 and 24 at SOJ!

Spirit of Joy! and Lord of Life Lutheran Church are combining their Lent services: Spiritual Disciplines to Grow Discipleship.  A simple meal will be offered before each service at 6:15 pm followed by service from 7:00 pm – 7:45 pm. We hope you'll join us.

Lent services for both congregations will be held at Lord of Life on February 24 and March 3; SOJ! will hold Lent services for both congregations on March 10, 17, and 24.
