Children of Joy! Preschool opened in 2001 with 80 children. We are a Christian, play based developmental program. Our curriculum is literature based. Enrichment activities include weekly chapel, music and motor classes. Special activities and events include Parent Orientation; Meet the Teacher; Open House; Pajama Party; Thanksgiving Feast; Holiday Parties; Bookfair; Grandparents Coffee; Christmas Family Event; Chili Cook-Off; and End of Year Event. Children of Joy! is a successful and well-respected ministry of Spirit of Joy! that ministers to an enrollment of 130 children in the community. There is an intentionally Christian focus, as most of the children in the school are not members of Spirit of Joy! Children of Joy! Preschool is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association. We are currently pursuing ELEA accreditation.
